Important festival on Panchami 2020

Panchami is a very important festival. There are many festivals in Panchami 2020. The list of which is as follows.

Vasant Panchami

The birthday of Goddess Saraswati is observed as Vasant Panchami (Basant Panchami) or better known to be Saraswati Puja in a few states of India. Saraswati Puja is celebrated every year on the 5th day of the bright fortnight of the lunar month of Magha. In 2020 this festival falls on Sunday, 10 February.

Rang Panchami

Rang Panchami is commemorated after 5 days of Holi celebration which is a Hindu festivity of fun and colors. It is considered as one of the important festivals in Indian states- Maharashtra, Bihar, Uttar-Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and other parts of Northern India. In 2020, Rang Panchami falls on Friday, 13 March.

Hera Panchami

era Panchami is an important and unique ritual of Rath yatra. ‘Hera’ means to ‘see’ and ‘Panchami’ means the ‘fifth day’. It is celebrated at the Gundicha temple on the fifth day from the start date of the Jagannath Rath Yatra. This ritual dedicates to Goddess Mahalakshmi. This ritual highlights the separation of Mahalaxmi from Lord Jagannath. In 2020, Hera Panchami observes on Saturday, 27 June.

Nag Panchami

Nag Panchami is an auspicious day to revere Snake God in the month of Shravan Maas or Saawan Month. Naga Panchami in the year 2020 falls on Saturday, 25 July.

Rishi Panchami

Rishi Panchami is an auspicious Hindu fasting day, especially for women. It observes on the fifth day of the Shukla Paksha of Bhadrapad month, according to Hindu Lunar Calendar. This year, Rishi Panchami falls on Sunday, 23 August 2020.

Vivah Panchami

Vivah Panchami will fall on Margashirsha Shukla Paksha Panchami date i.e. Tuesday, 1 December 2020. It is said in the scriptures that this day has a lot of importance because on this day Lord Rama was married to Goddess Sita in Tretayuga. Therefore, this day is also known as Vivah Panchami.
