Second Solar Eclipse 2020: The second and final solar eclipse of the year 2020 will be held on 14 December. This solar eclipse will not be seen in India. It can be seen in areas of the Pacific Ocean.

The month of June is very special; as there are two eclipses in this month both Chandra(05 June) and Surya Grahan(21 June). According to astrology, these eclipses can create a state of turmoil in the country and the world.

Solar eclipse in Hinduism

According to the legend, Lord Vishnu took the form of Mohini on the day of Mohini Ekadashi to resolve it when there was a dispute with the Devas and the Danavas for Amrit Paan due to the churning of the sea. And when Lord Vishnu had seated God and Asuras separately. But the Asuras cheated and sat down on the Lord’s side and drank the nectar. Moon and Sun sitting in the row of gods saw Rahu doing this. And then he told this thing to Lord Vishnu, after which Lord Vishnu separated Rahu’s head from his torso with his Sudarshan Chakra. But Rahu was drinking nectar, due to which he did not die and his head part was known as Rahu and the part of the torso. For this reason, Rahu and Ketu consider Sun and Moon as their enemies.
