The involvement of the word Tantra always relates to something negative and treacherous. But the fact is something else. Tantrik Vidhya was something which was practiced even by the Gods and it had supernatural powers. Shiva and Shakti are the major inventors or processors of these powers. If we think logically then Tantric Vidhya was invented in order to keep away the bad vibes from entering into other’s lives. This beautiful temple is very famous and is located in Kolkata. This temple is among the Shakti peeths and Goddess Sati is worshiped here. People practice Tantrik Vidhya in Kolkata since ages and hence this is the most preferred place for the Tantriks to ask the goddess for powers.

 

3. Kamakhya Temple, Guwahati, Assam

Kamakhaya Devi is very famous because of the rituals they follow as well as because it is said that Sati’s genital organ is worshiped here. This is yet another very powerful place to practice Tantrik Vidhya. Here Lord Shiva is worshiped as the preacher of Tantrik Vidhya. The deity which is worshiped is said to be quite unique and beautifully made. This temple dates back to 734 AD and is located in Udaipur in Rajasthan.

 

7. Khajuraho Temple, Madhya Pradesh

Here Goddess Bhadrakali is worshiped as the super power holder of Tantrik Vidhya. The deity has eight hands holding various objects used in the practice of Tantrik Vidhya. History says that Bhadrakali had ascended on earth to kill a demon named Daruka who was harassing the 6th Avatar of Lord Vishnu – Parshuram.
