Description

Krishna Janmashtami or Janamasthmi is commemorated to revere Lord Krishna’s birthday every year. It celebrates the earthly appearance of Krishna God with a great fervour on the roads of Uttarakhand, Haryana, Delhi, Uttar-Pradesh and Maharashtra. It is one of the biggest sacred observances solemnized in India. The 5245th Birth-Anniversary of the divine Krishna is a very important Festival in Hindu-Culture. Janamasthmi Celebration can be seen all day till midnight (Krishna-Janam time) in all the holy places and divine pilgrimages. The idols of Krishna are adorned with beautiful dresses and jewelleries and Goddess-Radha is also revered along with him at every Krishna’s temples. Enthusiasts also décor Janmashtami special Rangoli on this propitious festivity and chant mantras, shlokas whilst reading Janmashtami Vrat Katha in the holy places. Janamasthmi
