Being the third exhilarating spiritual and the religious Lord Shiva abode, Shrikhand Mahadev Yatra has now become a major place for trekking with the rich treasure of Indian culture just like the other two, Amarnath Yatra and Kailash Mansarovar Yatra.

A black- marble Shivling is naturally placed in a giant mountain between the hillocks which lies about 70 feet high. This noteworthy sacred Temple opens during the month of July – August annually for about 15 days. Being an excellent fusion of sanctitude and the tremendous natural allure of the surroundings, people throng a flock every year to pay homage to Lord Shiva and to enjoy the beauty.

How to Reach:

Being a part of Kullu district in Himachal Pradesh, devotees and tourist gather together to worship Lord Shiva in his magnificent incarnation- Shivlinga. You can travel to the state capital Shimla, which forms the base of this holy yatra. The trekking and the footpath begins from- the famous Jaon village, located in Himachal Pradesh.
