One of the most magnified and distinguished Holy Pilgrimage, dedicated to Goddess-Vaishno (Vaishnavi) Mother in the hillocks of Katra region. Goddess- Vaishno (Vaishnavi) dis well-known as one of the powerful manifestation of Goddess-Shakti or Durga in Hinduism. It is sited at the Trikuta Mountains range at an altitude of about 5,300 feet of Jammu state of North India. This eminent Hindu Pilgrimage is situated approx 61 kilometres from Jammu City. The main Goddess abode has three main deities- Mahasaraswati , Mahakali and Mahalakshmi, made up of black –marbled stone. Vaishno Devi Yatra

Being the most enlivening journey to the divine Goddess- Sanctum, it has become the most visited pilgrimage among Hindus Considered as the beauteous Shakti peethas among the total 108 one. Numberless devotees of goddesses flock together to get blessings all across the world. One can also take a look to Darshani Darwaza, Ban Ganga, Charan Paduka Temple, Ardhkuwari, Sanjichhat and Bhairon Ghati after visiting this holiest Shrine of Vaishno Maa.

How to Reach:

Katra is the main source to reach Vaishno Mata Temple as it forms the base of the expedition for the tourists. From Katra, Pilgrims have to cover a total distance of 13 kilometres by foot to reach the main temple complex.
