It is believed Lord Shiva resides in this devout place through the year and is one of the major pilgrimages for Shaivites during Shravan Month. It is also considered as one of the difficult expeditions in India. People annually visit this divine complex during Shravan Mela which is managed by the government of Jammu and Kashmir during July – August. The nearest airport is at Srinagar while Jammu Tawi is popular as the largest railway station in J&K. Jammu and Kashmir is widely connected to other states and cities.
