Hemkund Sahib Yatra
Solemnized in the Indian states of Uttarakhand and famed as one of the most sacred observances for trekking after Chota Char –Dham Yatra is Hemkund Sahib Yatra. It starts in the month of May and finishes in October every year. This Hindu Pilgrimage is popular as- Lake of Snow is now getting famed as- ‘the Fifth Dham of Uttarakhand’. Covered by the seven hillocks and each one of them is adorned by Nishan Sahib (a triangular flag) and quaint landscapes around. Located at a height of 4,632 meters above sea level, star-shaped illustrious- Sikhs Pilgrimage is- dedicated to 10th Guru of Sikhism, Guru Gobind Singh.
