You would be now able to relate to what Goddess Siddhidatri can boon us with. If we worship her, we may get the ultimate power to realize true existence. She is also said to help remove ignorance. According to the scriptures, there are 8 types of Siddhis – Anima, Mahima, Garima, Laghima, Prapti, Prakyamya, Inshitva, Vashitva. She is one of the glorious aspects of Navadurga.
Siddhidatri Devi is depicted to be wearing a red-colored saree and riding over a lion. She holds a lotus in the lower left hand, a shankha in her upper left hand, a chakra in her upper right hand, and a bludgeon in the lower right hand. She sits on a Lotus flower.
It is believed that Lord Shiva was blessed by Siddhidatri by giving all the eight Siddhis. During the beginning of the creation of the universe, Lord Shiva worshiped AdiParashakti. The Devi was pure energy and had no for. She thus appeared from the left half of Shiva. Lord Shiva was thereafter was also glorified by the name Ardhanariswar.
Maa Siddhidatri is immediately pleased with her devotees and achieves religion, meaning, work, and salvation in her world. On the 9th day of Navratri, devotees should put all their attention towards the Nirvana cycle. This chakra is located in the middle of our skull. By doing so, the devotees receive the power present in their Nirvana Chakra by the grace of mother Siddhidatri.
It is important to note that depending on starting time of Navami Tithi on the previous day Maha Navami Puja and Upavas might be done on Maha Ashtami. The precise rule is that if Ashtami and Navami merge before Sanyakal on Ashtami Tithi then Ashtami Puja and Navami Puja including Sandhi Puja are done on the same day.

If Navami Tithi gets over pretty soon after sunrise then it starts before Sayanakal on the previous day and a good portion of Navami Tithi prevails on Ashtami Tithi. If it happens then Navami Homa can be done on the previous day and it is suggested in religious texts. The Homa on Ashtami Tithi could be started any time while Ashtami Tithi is prevailing and should be finished when Navami Tithi starts prevailing but before sunset. In other words, Homa should be continued while Tithi crosses over Ashtami to Navami.
