The child is given proper education through Vidhya
Arambha Sanskar. The infant is introduced to the initial level of education.
And by introducing the physical objects of life, the path of knowledge is
shown. From this day the child starts going to school. When the child’s age
becomes eligible to get education, then the Vidhya Arambha Sanskar is done. Through the ceremony, child is encouraged to
study hard and on the other hand, the parents and teachers are also made aware
of this sacred and great responsibility to help child with the details related
to the initial level of the education as well as to understand the basic
fundamentals of life.
Pooja-
Vidhi (worshipping-rituals) of Vidyaarambh Sanskar
People of all four varna belonging to Hindu
religion want to provide education to their children as per the capabilities and
their own deeds which relate to their religion and karma.
Like every parent, you also want your
children to study well and become qualified one day. But according to
astrology, if there is no ‘Vidya Yoga’ in the horoscope, the child's interest
in reading and writing would be equivalent to zero or null. For this reason,
after the child birth, it is instituted to initiate Vidya Arambh for education
purpose.
According to Muhurta Shastra, the work that
starts in auspicious time, its result is always favourable and propitious. The
best date to start the education of a small child is in the month of Magh
Shukla during the Panchami Tithi.
In the Vedas and Puranas, it has been said
that Saraswati- the Goddess of knowledge had appeared on Magh Shukla Panchami
date at the beginning of the creation. He gave birth to tone (music) from his
harp (Veena).
