About
Adasa Ganpati Temple is dedicated to Lord Ganesha and is located about 35 kms from the main city of Nagpur. The shrine is situated on top of a tiny hillock and can be reached through a small trek of around 100 metres or a flight of 40-50 stairs. Other than presenting a picturesque view of the city, the premises are also used for family day picnics.
History
The Adasa Ganpati temple is a very small temple which is dedicated to the Hindu God, Lord Ganesha situated in Maharasthra. This temple is quite ancient and houses a beautiful statue of the deity, Lord Ganesha. People believe that the statue came into existence on its own here. This temple is considered to be one of the eight Ashta-Vinayaks in Vidarbha.
