Attukal
Temple is a popular Bhadrakali temple situated at Manacaud, Thiruvananthapuram
in Kerala. The main idol inside the sanctorum is of Goddess- Kannaki (Bhadrakali),
who is an incarnation of Devi- Durga. Inside the temple- Attukal Bhagavathy, Pongala'
is the most important festival commemorated and the temple is renowned for the
annual Attukal Pongala festival, in which over three million women participate.
