Temple is a famous Hindu temple which is sited in Rani Talab in the Jind area
of Haryana. The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is thus popular as-
Bhootnath among the people. It is a distinguished Shiva pilgrimage and is one
of the oldest temples of Lord Shiva. This temple comes under the circular of
the 48 kos of Kurukshetra.
This
noteworthy temple was constructed by Raghubir Singh who was the ruler of Jind
district. A pond has been built and it has been named - Rani Talab by Maharaja
Raghubir singh on his Queen’s Name.
The temple receives a large number of devotees
throughout the year especially on MahaShivratri and Shrawan Maas. The
devotees are blessed with happiness, peace and good health. Some
more festivals are celebrated in this Shiva Mandir and the major attraction for
the devotees is Navratra celebration. On the occasion of Durga Puja and
Navratra, a special Puja is organized here. This notable pilgrimage is
decorated with flowers and lights and has a spiritual environment which gives peace
of mind and heart to the pilgrims.
