to Goddess Kali who is a powerful and the most furious incarnation of Goddess-
Shakti (Durga). Lord Shiva is also venerated inside the main abode of the
temple. This is nestled inside the main Chittaranjan Park in Delhi. This is a
wonderful temple engraved with amazing murals on the walls. It also has various
deities, gods and goddesses magnificent pictures inscribed. Radhe- Krishna
altogether are also worshipped in the temple complex. This renowned temple of Goddess- Kali was
constructed by the Bengali community in Delhi, long back. It is popular as-
Kali Bari among the local residents.
Architecture:
Architected on the top of a small hillock. It was built in 1973 and in
1984; a beautiful Kali Temple was installed in the temple premises. It was said
that, this temple was an abode of Lord Shiva in old times and reflects the
Bengali terracotta architecture. For each deity -Goddess Kali, Lord Shiva and
Radhe-Krishna, separate temple is installed inside the main vicinity.

R Park (Chittaranjan Park) Kali Puja/Durga Puja is celebrated widely which
takes place in the month of October/November. This one of the major festivals
in Hindu-Culture is attended by thousands of devotees in this famous temple.
Inside the main temple area, a huge library is positioned which has a big
collection of books on Bengali culture and tradition.
