About
Gayatri Temple is one of the eminent Hindu Pilgrimages of Goddess - Gayatri. It is
situated at Laxmiganj in the area- Dhodharahi. It is a sacred Gayatri Temple in
Uttar-Pradesh. Gayatri Devi is worshipped along with many other goddesses such
as- Durga, Kali and Saraswati inside this temple.
There are many distinguished occasions and
propitious festival largely celebrated in this holy pilgrimage. They are- Navratri, Diwali, Gauri Pujan etc. and these auspicious days are celebrated to worship
Goddess- Gayatri every year, who is an important Goddess in the Hinduism. Navratri
is also celebrated with a Bash annually to pay homage to Goddess- Durga and
Mother- Gayatri. In Navratri, Hindus worship the different aspects of Goddess
Durga. This renowned Festival of Goddess Durga is observed by Hindus with
great pomp and show around the world. It is celebrated every year for Nine days
and often ends with Ram-Navmi on 10th Day. Fairs have been organised and people
often fast on the Nine Nights of Navratri twice every year and sing hymns and
praises in the name of Goddess- Gayatri. Devotees from across the world pay visit to these
