Hanuman dhara Temple is sited in a very sacred
town- Chitrakoot near to Kashavgarh at Kila Bag in thw Indian states of Uttar
Pradesh. This is an ancient place where the favourite of Lord Hanuman – Lord
Ram has spent most of his time during exile. Chitrakut is notable historic
vicinity where number of Hindu Temples are positioned adjacent to each other.
Here, there is an old
idol of Lord Hanuman standing against a mountain for years. And a small water
flow that meets the river and touches this idol. This is a must visit place for
Hanuman devotees as it is quite auspicious. Lord Hanuman’s followers celebrate
many festivals inside this very sacred temple. The Main Festival which is
remarked is HANUMAN JAYANTI. Hanuman Jayanti is discerned on the day when God
Monkey was born. On this auspicious day, a large number of people throng to
commemorate this special occasion. Devotees gather together to pay homage to
God and to get blessings in bulk for their family members. Hanuman Jayanti is
celebrated with much pomp and show each and every year inside the temple. Hindu
People follow some set of rituals on this distinguished day to please Lord
Hanuman and visit this temple for his Darshan.
