History
This temple is dedicated to
‘Sai Baba’ or ‘Shirdi wale Baba’; hence a beautiful deity of ‘Sai Baba’ is
installed inside the temple premises. ‘Sai Ka Aagan’ is a replica of
‘Shirdi’ (Nasik) and is also known as ‘Shirdi’ of the North India.
The
trustees planted a ‘Neem’ tree at the time of establishment and the area around
the tree is termed as ‘Gurusthans’. The tranquillity of this place
is so natural and makes one feel very close to Baba. An idol of babaji is kept
at ‘Gurusthans’ on a lofty rostrum where devotees’ lit earthen lamps and
incense sticks. They also chant a ‘Jaap /Mantra of Om Sai Shri Sai
Jai Jai Sai which makes the entire complex (Temple) divine and serene.
