History
Sai Baba is also known as Sai Baba of Shirdi or Shirdi Sai Baba. He was an Indian spiritual mentor and was very famous among his devotees for spreading spiritual, moral and religious knowledge trough his teachings and lessons. Sai Baba was popular among the folks as a spiritual saint, a noble fakir and a Satguru and most importantly he was regarded as an incarnation of Lord Shiva. He was worshipped as a supreme Hindu deity and was well-known for his epigrams- Allah Malik (God is King) and Sabka Malik Ek (Everyone’s God One). He was idolized by Muslims, Hindus and orthodox Christians at the time when we was alive and after his life as well. Devotees imputed him as the creator, the sustainer and the destroyer of this whole universe.
However He has been given the name Sai by ‘Mhalsapati’when he reached Shirdi, a place in the west Indian part of Maharastra state.
