Shiva Temple is situated in Khandari at Agra. It is one of the Hindu temples dedicated to Lord Shiva. The temple has a magnificent Shivlinga placed in the main abode. Lord Shiva is worshipped here on every Mondays and especially on Shrwana Maas and MahaShivratri. This distinguished Shiva temple is a famous pilgrimage of Agra among Hindu believers and has adorable drawings on the Walls of the temple. Devotees come from nearby places to worship Lord Shiva during occasions and festivals. Almost all the festivals are celebrated with a set of rituals in this temple. The festival of Shivratri is observed at grand scale with a great devotion and fervour. The atmosphere of the temple provides peace to mind and heart of the devotees and the toursits. This illustrious pilgrim lmage centre also arranges a fifteen days fair at the time of Mahashivratri Parva every year. A fest (fair) has been organised by the local devotees and the organisers to celebrate this big festival annually. Devotees observe fast on this night and do not eat anything till night and offer fruits, flowers and bel leaves on Shiva Linga. People believe that on this holy day Lord Shiva was married to Parvati Maa.
