Having a Christian themed tattoos is like going against the second commandment which clearly states that one should not try to create an image of god or likeness to anything that is related to god or the heavens above

The body has been referred to as a temple of god. By scarring them with tattoos which are permanent in nature is like defiling them. Thus it is considered unreligious.
Oftentimes people get religious text or symbol tattoos in places that is considered unholy. God and god’s images even in clothes should never be worn waist down. People often get religious tattoos in their thighs or intimate areas which is wrong.
Getting a tattoo of god doesÂ not show worship. It simply shows showing off or trying to act cool. It in fact shows disregard and disrespect. Thus if you are religious and have respect for religion you must definitely not get a tattoo.
Most religions condemn eating meat. Thus if you are eating non vegetarian and getting a tattoo religion, that doesn’t really show very high religious values. It is contradictory and shows disregard.
A true devotee will celebrate his devotion by singing the lord’s praises and devoting time and effort on religion. Many times youngsters get tattoos and wear it as a fashion statement. God is not there to show off. Religion is a means of life – it shows us the way to live and celebrate not for others to see and make fun.
Getting a tattoo of Aum without much thought is not good. Some people carelessly get tattoos fromÂ places which aren’t safe and can really be hazardous for life. Some thought should be spent before getting a tattoo that too which is talking about a religion. Getting a tattoo of Aum on your left hand, which is considered the unclean hand according to Hindus as it is used to do the dirty work, is not good.
